Kids love anything that is slippery, gooey, and slimy…and that is why slime is so awesome! Here are Celebrity Baby Trend’s step-by-step, fool-proof directions on how to make the best slime ever!
Disclaimer: We found this recipe on Elmers.com. We made the Colored Slime, but they have tons of fun slime recipes to pick from, so make sure to check them out!Supplies Needed: 1/2 tbsp of baking soda, 1 tbsp of contact lens solution, 4 fl ounces Elmer’s White School Glue, Food Coloring.Step 1: Pour the entire bottle of Elmer’s School Glue into a bowl. Use the 4 fluid ounce size.Step 2: Add 1/2 tablespoon of baking soda and mix it all up really well.Step 3: Once it is good and mixed, add your food coloring. We used 8 drops of red food coloring, but you can use more or less depending on the color you want.Step 4: Here comes the fun part! Add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution. We used Biotrue Multi-purpose Solution. You can find this at any drugstore or grocery store, or order it now on Amazon. Start mixing – you will find the mixture pulls together very quickly and starts forming into slime. Take the slime out and knead it with both of your hands until the perfect slime consistency is achieved. Now have fun as you squish, squash and stretch your slime!
IMPORTANT: *Adult supervision is required* This project is not appropriate for children under 3 years of age. Always wash your hands before and after making and playing with slime. Warning: If large quantities of contact lens solution are accidentally ingested (greater than a tablespoon), get medical attention immediately.
