Celebrity Baby Trends celebrates breastfeeding awareness month this month and every month! Our team cheerleads our lucky moms that have a full milk supply and also support our moms who don’t — the struggle is real!
This is Celebrity Baby Trends CEO, Rachel Urso posting this article and yes, this is not our typical editorial guidelines but I thought I would get personal with our mommy readers on such a controversial subject.
I was fortunate enough to breastfeed my four biological children (side note: I proudly have two step kids) for their first few months of life and once that pesky left breast decided not to cooperate I supplemented with formula. Once both ridiculously bodacious boobies shut down I went straight to formula bottle feedings. I cried, I got pissed, and I cried some more BUT then I got over it! I knew I gave it my all for the time I was able to feed them naturally. I continued our skin-to-skin feeding time (with a bottle in my hand) and we still have the same incredible bond other breastfeeding moms have with their babies. FYI, my children are healthy and thriving. They continue reaching milestones and goals. In fact, one daughter started Law School last Monday and the youngest daughter starts kindergarten next Monday. You see, breast is BEST but if it’s not in the cards don’t stress!
My team and I personally chose to stamp a “5 STAR” rating on the Littlebeam starry night nursing pillow because they get it! The brand understands busy traveling moms need a smaller support pillow and we love how they show breastfeeding and bottle feeding moms in their advertising campaign (as shown above).
Say goodbye to bulky, tight, body wrapping pillows and hello to smart and comfortable shaped nursing pillows that can easily fit in your tote! Perfect for resting your arm and baby while having mobility. It is not a big body wrapping, hard to maneuver nursing pillow which was designed by a family nurse practitioner and IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant). This is the one and only must-have #breastfeeding pillow!
Megan’s son Asher of The Striped Red Door seems to like lounging on his Littlebeam pillow as you can see in our cover image.
